Children and adults receiving care from Easterseals Central Texas are challenged by a variety of disabilities, including autism, developmental and learning delays, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy and many more.
Easterseals Central Texas currently provides over 8,500 local children and adults with quality, person-centered services and support. Contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government grants assist in funding programs, ensuring that lack of financial resources does not exclude an individual from receiving services.
Gifts to Easterseals, such as this one given by Give Realty, are used to serve babies and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities through the Early Childhood Intervention program, to develop wheelchair accessible condo units for adults with disabilities, and to prepare families of children with special needs for the many unique challenges and unexpected obstacles they face.
Give Realty founder and broker Laurie Loew says that “giving back to our community is our way of saying thank you to our clients for choosing us, and thank you to the nonprofits for their assistance within this great community we call home.”
“We are so grateful to partner with Give Realty, whose commitment to philanthropy in the Austin community is truly inspiring,” says Easterseals Central Texas President and CEO Tod Marvin. “Through their generosity, Give Realty is bringing to life our mission to support individuals with disabilities, ensuring that they have access to resources that enable them to grow and thrive.”
